Float Glass Options
Most economical option
Float (or annealed float glass) is the most common method of manufacturing flat glass. It is the most economical option when choosing glass and is available in a variety of colours and thicknesses. When float breaks it will shatter into large, sharp pieces.
Clear Float
As the name suggests, clear float is a colourless and transparent glass.
Grey Float
Grey Float is designed to reduce the amount of glare and heat entry.
Dark Grey Float
Dark Grey is a rich tint for greater control of the amount of glare and heat entry than standard grey.
Green Float
Green tinting comparable solar control to grey tints, without the sacrifice of visible light transmittance.
Glass Thickness Options
Clear Float – 3mm/4mm/5mm/6mm/8mm/10mm/12mm
Grey Float – 4mm/5mm/6mm/8mm/10mm/12mm
Dark Grey Float – 5mm/6mm
Green Float – 5mm/6mm

U-value = Thermal insulation properties expressed in watts x m2 per degree Celsius.
SHGC = Solar heat gain co-efficient.
VLT = % Visible light transmittance.
