1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website operated by C-View Windows Pty Ltd. By using the website, you agree to these terms. Separate written quotes, order confirmations or trade terms may also apply to a purchase. If there is an inconsistency, the order-specific written terms take priority for that order.
2. Website information and availability
We aim to keep website information accurate and current, but product colours, finishes, images, specifications, stock and availability may change. Screen colours and photographs are indicative only. Website content is general information and is not professional building, engineering or installation advice.
We may change, suspend or withdraw website functions where reasonably necessary.
3. Quotes and custom products
A website quote request is an invitation for us to assess your requirements; it is not an accepted order or a binding price. A purchase is accepted when we issue an order confirmation or otherwise confirm acceptance. Quotes remain subject to their stated validity period, inclusions, exclusions and payment terms.
You are responsible for checking dimensions, quantities, configurations, access requirements and other information supplied to us. Custom-made products may not be cancellable or returnable after manufacture begins, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law or agreed by us in writing.
4. Online spare-parts orders
Product availability and order acceptance are subject to confirmation. We may reject or cancel an order where an item is unavailable, information is incorrect, payment is not authorised, or fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected. If we cancel after receiving payment, we will provide an appropriate refund.
5. Prices and payment
Prices, taxes, delivery charges, deposits and payment due dates are those displayed at checkout or stated in your quote or order confirmation. Online card payments are processed securely by Square. You must be authorised to use the selected payment method.
6. Pickup, delivery and risk
Pickup and delivery estimates are estimates only unless expressly agreed otherwise. You must provide accurate contact, delivery and access details. Risk and responsibility for goods pass as provided in your order-specific terms and applicable law. Please inspect goods promptly and contact us if an item appears damaged, incorrect or incomplete.
7. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Cancellations, returns and refunds are assessed according to the product type, manufacturing status, order-specific terms and the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the website unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that interferes with its security or operation;
- attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, data or administrator functions;
- upload malicious code, unlawful content or material you do not have permission to provide; or
- copy, scrape or exploit website content in a way that infringes our rights or materially burdens our systems.
9. Intellectual property and third-party services
Unless stated otherwise, website text, branding, graphics, designs and software are owned by or licensed to C-View. You may use the website for personal or legitimate business enquiries but may not reproduce or commercially exploit its content without permission.
Third-party payment, map, video, delivery and other services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites outside our control.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, C-View is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use, service interruption, or reliance on general website information. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to the remedies permitted by applicable law. These limitations do not apply where they would unlawfully exclude a consumer guarantee or other non-excludable right.
11. Governing law and changes
These website terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. We may update them from time to time by publishing the revised version and its effective date on this page.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, and our Warranty Information summarises our express warranty and Australian Consumer Law rights.
