This policy applies to C-View Windows Pty Ltd, located at 25 Dover Drive, Burleigh Heads QLD 4220 (“C-View”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Privacy enquiries can be sent to sales@c-view.com.au.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• contact details such as your name, email address, phone number and delivery or project address;
• quote, enquiry, order and warranty information, including product requirements, measurements, messages and files you choose to upload;
• payment and transaction records. Card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by C-View;
• delivery, collection and fulfilment information;
• messages submitted through our website chatbot; and
• limited technical and usage information described under “Website analytics and cookies”.

We use information where reasonably necessary to:

• respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and provide requested products or services;
• process payments, arrange pickup or delivery and manage orders, refunds and warranty claims;
• communicate about your enquiry or order;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website and quote process;
• meet legal, tax, accounting and record-keeping obligations; and
• protect our rights, customers, staff and systems from fraud or misuse.

We use first-party, privacy-focused analytics to understand popular pages, general traffic sources, device categories and where people experience difficulty in the quote process. We do not store raw IP addresses, form answers, customer names, uploaded filenames, query strings or full browser user-agent strings in analytics.

Analytics uses random identifiers that rotate after 30 days, sessions expire after 30 minutes, and raw analytics events are retained for up to 90 days. Location is approximate and may be based on a trusted hosting location header or your device timezone. We respect browser “Do Not Track” signals.

The website may also use essential cookies or browser storage for functions such as the shopping cart, checkout state, security and administrator sessions. Blocking these may prevent parts of the website from working correctly.

We may disclose only the information reasonably required for services supplied on our behalf, including:

• Square, for secure card-payment processing and refunds;
• Resend, for transactional order and enquiry emails;
• Australia Post and other carriers, for postage, tracking and delivery;
• Anthropic, when you use the website chatbot, to generate a response to your message;
• Google services, for address suggestions, maps and related website functions;
• Vimeo, when care or product videos are loaded or played; and
• our website hosting, content-delivery, database, file-storage, security and professional service providers.

Some providers may process information outside Australia under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information where required by law, or in connection with a business restructure or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including warranty support and applicable legal, accounting and tax requirements. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing sales@c-view.com.au. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law requires or permits it. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Our website may link to third-party websites that have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
